e-Engineering Methodology
Overview
of the Process
DACOM does more
than simply "re-engineer" processes. We e-Engineer business
processes and technologies and your business case/business model to
improve performance. To ensure that you achieve the greatest breakthroughs
- as quickly, smoothly and economically as possible - DACOM has developed
a robust e-Engineering Methodology.
Leveraging its
long history as a professional business engineering firm, DACOM uses
its e-Engineering Methodology to analyze current practices and processes
and map out the route to the "to be" - improved - state
of your organization. In the process, our team will identify opportunities
for improvement and make specific recommendations for integrating,
eliminating, streamlining, or automating activities, as well as eliminating
or simplifying bureaucracy.
These improvement opportunities are then further examined in terms
of their potential cost, return on investment, performance, and end-user
impacts. The field of possibilities is narrowed until we have identified
the best improvement opportunities and the best processes for realizing
these opportunities. Often, a WorkNet
is identified as the best solution for supporting specific process
improvements, and the team will incorporate our proprietary WorkNet
Development Methodology 2000 (WNDM 2000).
These improvement
strategies are then translated into a clear roadmap for achieving
the desired changes - including specific process models, economic
models, and architecture for the areas targeted for improvement.
