Working
with Computer Associates, DACOM is reengineering essential CMD Group
business processes to help achieve their vision for the future.
CMD Group seeks opportunities to leverage existing information into
a variety of new, profitable products, while continuing to develop
the market for base products. Once the "To-Be" processes
are defined, DACOM will assist in creating and aligning an integrated
information infrastructure that focuses on today's e-economy and data
accessibility. DACOM is also supporting parallel efforts including:

Technology Life Cycle Management
- Help the customer identify weaknesses in their IT infrastructure
and design and implement solutions for those weaknesses. This
included creating a process to create and maintain IT policies,
implementing a new Help Desk structure with performance metrics,
and creating processes to increase the effectiveness of monitoring
and supporting an e-business oriented infrastructure. |

- Facilitated sessions with the customer to gather requirements,
develop an enterprise data model, and validate that model
with the customer. |
